Me and my friend started dating in December. We had a short break up in March and got back to together the last week of March. We have been dating long distance, he comes into town every month or two so it was okay and sustainable. Well exactly a week ago I found out he was dating another girl for over 2 months. We have been infested with ants this season. My husband sprays Bayer ant killer outside at the perimeter of the house and also around the windows. but, they still find their way in. We don't leave food out..only fruits. Everything else is put away or in zip lock bags. They are on the floor, the counters, and climbing up the walls. They are mostly in the kitchen; however, there a few in the bathroom and even in my son's room. we also have Terro liquid traps and that works but it seems as if when 100 die another 100 take their place. Okay so I start college for the first time in August, but I haven't gotten my schedule yet until I'm finished getting my transcripts and doing financial aid. I'm applying for this job that is going to be hiring in July but I don't know what hours to put on the application. Since its summer time do I just put a regular 5 or so hour time mark and then change/discuss the different times once August comes around? I don't have any experience yet so I really want this job but I'm just so confused about everything lol. I don't know what hours to put and if it will conflict with my school time =/

Wireless Connection Issue?

So I used to have an old Linksys router with an SSID of "router" (this is an example). I recently got a new Ubee router through Time Warner Cable and changed the SSID to "Router" (just changed the front letter). I however kept the encryption key the same 16 characters as my older router. My problem is that I am having trouble connecting from my laptop without issues. Always switching from local to internet access. Firefox will always display cannot find server randomly. It takes on average about 2 minutes after opening my laptop to connection. This has never been a problem before, it usually connects instantly and remains stable. Are there some conflicts with the SSID or something?

My cat has a bad case of diarrhea.?

Hi, me and my roommate just got a kitten ( about 6-7 months and weighs about 5 pounds) from our work friend about 2 weeks ago. The day we got him we noticed that he was infested with fleas, he also had a bad case of diarrhea, we also noticed that he sneezes quite a bit. That day we got rid of the fleas but all of the other symptoms still exist. Since then he's still has diarrhea, his stools are very slimmy, wet and has a foul smell it's also a very light brown color, he has trouble holding it in till he gets to one spot of the litter box. We are unable to take him to the vet because we have been busy with finals and work. A couple of days ago a friend bought him a Liquid De-wormer which we just gave to him and now his diarrhea has worsened to the point where he can barely hold it before he gets to the litter box. Please if anyone has any idea whats wrong with our kitten and help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't go near weeds if I can avoid it but he said I may have gotten exposed to poison ivy just by contact from my husband's clothes. So to make a long story short the rash expanded, itches, look like bites and then welts, then red discolored areas. I am using 20X hydrocortisone cream and have a prescription for prednisone if that doesn't work. Good luck. There are a lot of rashes going around. Why do Western countries continue to spend on wars and such things despite their debts?

You have seen the problem. There is no way to get rid of them if they keep finding a way in. If there weren't the drought conditions, you could exterminate them in the house. But you obviously can't go outside and kill them all. There is no repellent that I know of. There was a few years ago an electronic repellent you could plug into the wall. Maybe it still is sold online somewhere. Don't know whether it works or not.

hi, i recently have been informed that my place of work has had a flea infestation, the cat flea type, and they have ccalled in pest control to fumigate the area. a few members of staff have since complained that their homes have now been infested through carrying the fleas home on there uniform. i, at first thought everyone was jumping (pardon the pun) at the opportunity of a few extra pound in their wages for compensation, as our work ( a major clothing outlet) were paying out on any products or infestation control that staff have had to pay out. i wasnt really concerned myself as i had no bites on my body like some of the others, also i have no animals in the house and had no real reason to concern myself. now it seems my 4 year old daughter has two bites on the ankle, well at least i think thats what they are, she is complaining of an annoying itch shortly after the bumps arrived, she has now a further two on her tummy. hubby got one on the lower leg the following day, however, my other daughter and i seem totally untouched. anyway, the long and short of the story is, i am wondering how long these vermin can survive without an animal to live on??? i have took all the bed clothes off and boil washed them, the only carpet in the house, in my bedroom, i have hoovered. do i need to do anything else??? i havent seen one pysically in front of me and have been looking all over the bed in our room as thats were the bites seem to be occurring. will they die of if there is only a couple??

What is wrong with my cat?

I have 2 cats a two yr old and a one yr old, ive never had problems with my two yr old but my one yr old since i got her ive had plenty of issues. Within a week of getting her she was infested with fleas and i noticed rice like worms on her butt. I called the vet and they gave me 2 pills one for each of my cats. I cleaned out the room used a flea carpet killer i bathed them both and made sure not to see any fleas. About a month ago i noticed worms again on her butt and bought an over the counter product seemed to work till today she has them again and this time its ALOT. Aside from the worms she also developed a rash all over her body so i bathed her every other day for a month and she seemed to be doing better she has it only on her tummy and neck. Ive tried everything i can and i don't know what to do shes my little love and not being able to allow her on my bed is sad can someone help if you of anything please help.

Use a flea comb for the mother at least, dip it in soapy warm water to kill the fleas. Comb her maybe twice a day. If you are very gentle you could probably comb the kittens as well, but not as much. The little boy shown had to go to school in his sisters hand me down shirt, and trousers torn at the bottom. He sometimes goes without lunch and "saves" his hunger until tea time when he gets a meal. Are we talking about an village in Pakistan, no, it was somewhere like Leeds. A little girl who lives in a tower block in The Gorbals has mold and damp all over her bedroom, affecting her mattress, and preventing her from sleeping on the top bunk. My dog is infested with fleas, but were having problems getting rid of them! We gave him lots of medicine for them, but none of it's working! My 3 and a half year old daughter has caught nits from my friends daughter. She has been scratching her head for just over a week now but I'd checked her hair asnd couldnt find anything. Last Thursday morning her head was absolutely infested with them! (its like they came out of nowhere) Her hair was practically black with bloody lice eggs!! I treated her hair and spent nearly 2 hours combing it trying to get them out. I managed to get the lice out and the dead eggs but some of the fresh eggs where too small and just slipped through the comb. We have no idea how old the kitten is. He has teeth and is eating wet cat food. Also, because his mouth was white, I have been giving him baby formula (Soy kind left over from when we took my now 18 mth old son off of formula) so that he will get extra iron. Is it safe to use baking soda to kill possible roaches/any bug that may be in kid's books?

Xbox Ip address conflicts with port forwarding?

The Xbox Live set up I have is non-traditional. It is connected via using my PC as a gateway, essentially using the computers Internet connection rather than the Xbox being directly connected to a modem. The PC has a wireless adapter hooked up to it to connect to the router downstairs. For some background info: I use a WNDR3300 router and a Vista OS on my PC (not so great I know). This problem is originally derived from an NAT issue, however I'm sure I know how to solve it, the real issue comes from the fact that I can't take the necessary step to fix it. In my router settings, I can't port forward anything that doesn't have a one in the third digit section of the ip. For example, a static ip is typically 198.162.1.x. My Xbox ip is 198.162.0.x. The zero is the issue, and the reason I can't port forward. I've tried manually adjusting the ip address on the LAN connection to the PC and the Xbox ip to match, but it instead eliminates the Internet connection entirely. Help would be appreciated!

How to get over my fear of getting shocked?

Im a 14 year old guy and I am scared of getting shocked. Its more like a phobia. I dont get shocked that often but when I do i HATE it. When it happens in a store, I scream a little and jump back really fast and usually drop what im holding. Everyone stares and its really embarassing... I take procautions to try to reduce my chances of getting shocked. I put lotion on my hands, I try not to slide off of any furniture, or touch any medal or people. When I get out of my car I close my door by pushing on the window instead of the medal. When I do Have to touch medal I usually hit it a few times and then finally put my hand on it. It seems to work most of the time. But im tired of being scared and I want a solution so I don't have to live in fear anymore! i had hermit crabs whose habitat recently was infested with gnats and mites. We took care of that problem, but I noticed right after that, the cats had fleas that started to appear. The flea problem is out of control, but leaves me to ponder if the mites caused the fleas somehow. please help

Turn Win 7 laptop into a wireless hotspot?

i have been trying all software that deal with internet sharing via wireless adapter, ranging from Connectify, VirtualAP, Dell Laptop to Hotspot Converter and some plenty more but I still fail to get the effect i need. am using Dell Latitude D63o with Win 7 Ultimate SP1 installed, for my internet am using a Huawei E220 3G Modem provided by Zain (now Airtel) with unlimited access. When I tried using Connectify, it kept on conflicting with the modem drivers, the remaining software don't seem to find my internet connection, I only get a '' on the internet connection display box so i cant share a connection through any of the remaining software. using Windows 7 Adhoc networking is also so inconvenient because whenever i protect my connection with a password, other computers fail to establish full connectivity ( i only manage to share internet connection when the connection is insecure). Please help in finding a software to turn my windows 7 laptop into a wireless hotspot hosting an encrypted connection and capabilities for other computers to establish full connectivity.

Well I have a black belt with 6 years of training and military combat experience on top of that. I can tell you that a full fight is going to go to the ground. Hitting first doesn't matter unless it's solid anyway. Protect your head at all costs. A body can take serious damage, but one good headshot and you're down and about to experience more pain. Basics of ground fighting will tell you to never let him get your back, because then you're done. Don't try any fancy leg/arm locks, as without extensive training, you won't have the strength or flexiblity to attain them. Go for the neck, it's the easiest place to attack...and continue to attack the sides of his head, or the back of the neck. You have to have the mindset that you're going to win, and that you're faster/stronger than the other guy. If neither of you have training, the mental part is what will win it. If possible try to take him to the ground by way of the legs at the beginning of the fight. Once you're dominating from the top, you can control what goes on. Also, bring a weapon for defense just in case...you don't have to use it, but be prepared to. A serious fight doesn't last more than a minute usually. So...don't wear yourself out with worthless attacks, use your energy only on well placed ones...and dominate quickly on the ground as his height could give advantage to him on the ground...K I think I'm done.
