HALAL eater Brahmins(so called) of J & K, HIMACHAL, UTTARANCHAL, MITHILA, BENGAL---What will u call them?

First you should know the history. The ancient Brahmins sacrificed meat in the yagna. i also heard and read somewhere that they also ate Meat. Because of Adi Shankara, the trend changed. Next, most part of north india was ruled by Mogul emperors. They compelled the Brahmins to eat meat and more atrocities they done on them. Gradually, the north indian brahmins not all became non-veg eaters during that time. Now, most brahmins are veg only but there are exceptions. Take south india, there was no mogul rule here, so all brahmins are vegetarians only. you should not come to a conclusion on seeing a few people in that caste.
