When an author foreshadows something for the reader, that most directly affects the story's?

I'd say it would be both D, C, and B. It probably affects the Mood the most though. The reason I say these could be the answers is because some way or another the author has to have the same plot and setting as the foreshadowing. The mood is effected greatly too, if it is something bad being foreshadowed, it could make the character more scare-able and anxious
